    Hello all.new here.
    Looking for advice if possible.
I have a 4stroke watercooled suzuki ped that is overheating after 15mins riding.
    I have changed the thermostat
    The pump works fine
Coolent is flowing from the rad fine but from the other side of the engine the coolent just dribbles out slowly.so just appeers that hot coolent is staying in the engine. Any troubleshooting ideas?
    Thanks

Is the water pump belt driven?
Is the oil normal colour or milky coffee coloured?

Hi.the water pump spins and water flows. The oil looks like black coffee pretty soon after putting it in

Plan on doing it myself.only problem is its a four stroke.heard they are much.more complicated to take apart.
Took the thermostat out and now the temp is fine.weird thing is the thermostat works fine cos i put it in boiling water and it opens.very odd

Suspect head gasket gone.maybe even a warped head. Think im just gonna try and make it last until i can afford a new bike.

Good thinking. Just took it out for a spin.temp went up about halfway,as apposed to almost in the red.sound about right for hot days like today?
