As title says. I have a spare Suzuki Katana ready to go and a Runner engine which I just neet to put a bore and stator onto and then thats ready to go. So I thought I may as well make use of them ;) Will it be hard to modify the mount's on it to fit a Runner engine in? My katana uses the Morini engine. Thanks.

i'v got a sr 50 with a morini engine, basicaly the same thing as the katana, don't know but was told i could "shoe horn a piggy lump in there" so just try it out and i suppose it will need a touch of a grinder, can't be that hard, just measure it up and work from there. i never got round to it but it would be nice to see it done mate.
morini engine = wank but is still rather tunabble.i'v got a pipe,varo,clutch,70 kit, carb, belt, and can get a crank.

i was doing this a while ago but piggy in a sr, mounts are in the same place but the frame mounts are about a inch wider so some brakets will need to be made :)

nah, the sr 50 he was gonna use was a piggy engine in the first place i belive.. minerali/morini mounts are in the wrong place.. may be able to plate it and redrill a new mount but its pritty involved and you will need to nock a jig up so it all goes in straight/tracks right

oh yeah forgot these are like the old sr frame with the minrelli engine wont fit mate

on your frame the mounts are high up and the engine bracket is at the top, on the piggy engine the mounts are at the bottom, not gonna work mate :( i know because i tryed fitting a DItech in a old sr frame
