suzuki katana air rizla rep

i bought a no running katana air off my mate for £150 , it has 3567 miles on the clock , its a 2003 reg ,

when i bought it it had malossi 70cc cast iron bore kit , mallosi 19mm carb , and some shit mini moto k&n (fuckin idiot for puttin that on ) ,


stupid me when i bought it i didnt check the engine or anything so i got what was comin lol


i had 2 buy new head bolts because 2 were snaped new gaskets , and i decarbonised the cylinder head and changed the reeds to carbon malossi 1s and i bought a dobbler sports tunning air filter ,

as a free bee the the ped he gave me a brand new polini variator kit , and a old arrow exhaust ,

so i put them on got it started but it want going passed 20mph lol

that ment a check over then i noticed there was hardly any grip on the drive belt , so polini kevlar drive belt and since i got it off the internet i bought a cheeky polini adjustable racing clutch lol

it is still not going passed 30mph but i think its just the exhaust because it is for a sr50 deitec ,and i probly havnt set the clutch properly ,

plans for the ped

dobbler power pipe or yatsun chrome sports exhaust
dobbler suspension (the 1 that you can pump up )
i have rizla decal set , so light blue moto gp rizla suzuki paint job + decals


any1 got any ideas for me ,

Shame it's not running right, but by the sound of it, when you get it running right, it's gunna be fast as fook.

u got any ideas of what else i could put on it ?

i was thinkin bout neons but i had them on my speedfight and they lasted a night because i went out with them on in heavy rain

I used to own a katana, and i really want to get hold of another one.
Theyre wicked peds, i used to have the old shape one. but wouldnt mind getting one of the newer shape ones with white wheels. Hmm.. Need more cash... Hmm Katana project or 172 and new exhaust for my runner...

got new rollers on now as well 7.0g mallosi 1s and put on new tyres and starter motor

I have the Katana Sport (old GSXR rep) but my dad has sprayed it the baby blue color and got a full graphic set and yellow rim tape set for it, but wont let me see it till tomorrow :rtfm: if I was you I would do that. Would look great on a Katana.

 

I thought you had already got the 172 in your Runner gareth???
