suzuki ay 50 starting problem

hi all,can anyone help with this? just bought a ay50 and it will not start on the leccy start,but it starts first kick.things ive done are,new plug,checked the batt,cleaned the relay,run another earth,it does spark on the leccy but it just wont start. thanks

 

ballast resistor, with the extra compression when the plug is in it saps too much battery power to spark and turn the motor over.

little resistor (like a white stick) i beleive it's under the front panel

i'm 99.9 % sure it'll be that, kats seem prone to it.

£280 tax and test for a year,its not great but it aint bad either.

 

Nice man. its a nice with lots of legroom, ive only rode a runner which is better for legroom.
You have any future plans or is it just a daily run?
