HELP ANY1 IT FLYS FROM 0-34 THEN ITS LIKE ITS RESTRICTED. GET A LITTLE DOWNHILL IT WILL GET TO 40 THEN THATS IT BUT SOMETIMES IT WILL ONLY DO 31 EVEN ON THE FLAT SO BASICLY THE TOP SPEED VARIES FROM 31-40?+WOULD LIGHTER ROLLERS HELP? ALSO ANY 1 KNOW WHERE TO GET A BETTER CDI THAN THE STANDARD 1 FITTED 2 THE BIKE?
Have you take out the washer in the vario..... and are you sure ... Because it should get to 40-45 on straight And cdi is only for it to go over the rev limiter which i DOUBT you can get anywhere near lol.
Katana's go silly slow speeds. I've got 2. They are quick off the line, but thats about it.... Wont be going any where fast with out a bore on one really.....
i think i remember capri dave saying the standard gearing is set mega low, look for a gear up mate and have you checked the carb for restrictors?
my old sr had the same engine as katanas do(morini) a polini iron 70 kit,19ml carb,technigas pipe,polini vario and belt,malossi clutch and e13 filter and that was touching 62 pmh true speed, didnt have a gear up either.
