super unleaded

    is ther any benefit for a 2stroke engine of running higher octane fuel?
    iv filled up on super unleaded a few times recently and it appears to make my throttle more responsive ect but i dont kno if thats just me expecting it to do sumfin lol
    just checkin if ther is any evidence behind it or if its not doin my engine any gd

    yeh i fill up on this stuff and it feels like it makes a difference but im the same as you it may just be me wanting it to feel like its doing something

    i only ever use bp ultimate but i use it cus its meant to be better for the engine or something. dont know about performance on a 50

    Don't think it'll do anything.... there was a thread about high octane fuel not long ago...

    higher octone fuels are just fuels refined for longer so they burn easier and yes they do make a difference somthing to do with the alignment of particles getting more aligned the longer they are refined aqnd the mole aligned they are the easier the fuel burns they dont change ya top end but they improve mid range the down side is super unleaded is more damaging to en engine so its a good idea to add some redex everynow and again if you run your bike on it all the time.hope this helps boys
