Hello guys, decided to get a Xmas present for myself and went shopping. Bought a set of 50 cases for a fiver!! And now I'm building a race engine. The bore kit I bought is the PM tuning X-Tech 70cc kit which claims to put out 13hp at 10,000 rpm when coupled with an X-Tech 360 pipe. When it comes to variator and clutch tuning im slightly confused. Obviously the aim is to try and keep the engine around 10,000 rpm so peak power is always available but I'm not sure what RPM I want the clutch biting at, if it was to bite at 10,000 I wouldn't have a bike for very long Basically guys I need some pointers on when the clutch should be engaging. I can do the roller weights as I have access to a dyno so can use that to see what weights have what effects. Many thanks
Malossi multivar 2000 vario and 4.59gr weights. Red or yellow clutch springs, 1500/2000 rpm torsion spring, leave the clutch shoes standard, kevlar belt, 17.5 or 19mm dellorto carb, standard airbox with OPEN WEAVE FILTER. Then keep the front wheel on the ground.
