    yerp was brand new. with carbon reeds i also payed cash on delivery so came to like £100

    lookin good dave if you want a run /set up on the dyno give us a shout ,be interesting to find out what torque its putting out ,get the carb set up and try a 28 (got one here)on there see what the differance is :tup:

    you got a dyno now gaz, i thought i read something along those lines on runner.net :tup:

    im going to have to hire a van or something, and bring my ped down to you...

    would be good if grahams there too, would like to meet the 2 of you for a bevvy sometime :cool:

    moneys a bit tight though at the minute, im on a 4 day week and could be made redundant in a month or two...

    i'll give you a shout when those 6 numbers come up :p

    yep yep... wiht any luck ill be permenantly about in the next month or two... well, work depending. need to sort somthing out like NOW really. but ye, would be good to get out on the lash wiht 2 crusty old scooter freaks :D oh and a dyno session on the old 70 would be nice (could pit yours against my rat bike hahahahahaha)

    well im not really expecting mine to produce anything spectacular to be honest :D

    ive erred on the side of conservative really (for a reason)... i will be more than happy if i break into the teens horse power wise :tup:

    bhp dont mean s@@T dave its the torque we are looking for ?you will be supprised how an hour on the dyno helps ,carb set up and transmission set up getting it all coming in at the right place, and a good excuse to show the yung un (35 eh minor) how to drink lol

    yeahh sounds good gaz,

    i always say 3 quarters of the scooters i see flying about are revving far too high, but you know what the young uns think about light rollers ;)

    A dyno would save me a lot of messing around on the street testing :D

    dont be supprised if it needs attention when its off the dyno tho.... roillers swapping can be a deceptive little game once you put it on the road wiht a 12 stone + (or bigger) dude on it, then face some wind at it.

    used to be the case of too heavy rollers in the majority of scoots.. an ye 35 lookin, 60 in experience, 12 in attitude and 25 in reality. wanker :D

    just bring more than you need. i certianly need a decent pipe and a HELL of alot of rolelrs befor some dyno time. want to get the intake sorted as there all shit and start playing wiht pulse timing inside the carb.. its all well and good bolting somthing together, i want my entire engine harmonicly singing at the majic rpm.. every part working in complete syncricity frequency wise, even if it does mean i have a powerband 500rpm wide :D

    build it fast, ride it hard, blow it up often... :D

    get it together tho an get it down dave. as for the drinking, last time we went out shiny i belive i was still sober while you an the wife wobbeled up the road.... LOL (for once ay... usually me wiht 2 pints of stella in my lap)

    To be honest m8 i wasnt really too impressed with that flexible hose, i thought it was a bit of a rip off for the money :wtf:

    it deforms horribly if you try and put a bit of a bend in it, not too good for air flow :nerd:

    im going to have a crack at making my own, so far ive been pretty unimpressed with other lash ups ive seen about the forums :unsure:

    cheers gaz, are we talking taking my scoot down as well, or just bringing myself down :D

    because if its the scoot, im afraid its still in bits :emb: long story short i had a bit of a farce
    trying to get a crank, scooter attack wouldnt accept my debit card, but waited a week to tell me....after telling me everything ok :wallbash:

    Luckily (heres the plug for the day lol) scootermatix accepted the very same card and my cranks coming tomorrow :D
