it is very popular in europe a 24mm carb... im going to see how it goes with the 24 on, which will be slightly choked down for the set up, which should give good throttle response etc... then at a later date i will probably give a 28mm a go, see which i prefer :nerd:
n hopefully fuel taxes will be a bit lower by then lol its silly atm .iv seen the 24 alot n jus thought it ws a bit of a random number lol but like u say good throttle response n easier to set up than like a 28 ect
yes jj u can there the same size you should do what im doing tho kx80 reedblock in my cases thing might need a bit of welding yet for the reeds to open enough not sure i havent got that far
if i remember correctly, i beleive you have to use a little spacer when you use these v-force reed blocks on the 125/172/180 motors, as the end of the reed block fouls the crank... i read a forum post somewhere about someone who used the top of an old reed cage cut off as a spacer... im sure minor can confirm/verify if this is correct
that was running the minarelli reedblock adapted for the piggy.. 50/125 have an identical reed area lengthwise but the 125's are wider (hence the backplates are a little wider) nop prob fitting a v force in ether
