right so i have a high end 70 the polini evo2 and have just put it on i have a yasuni c21 pipe 22mm carb with k and n motoforse evolution high end crank but i seem to have sum sort of problem but i cant work out what at first i thought it might be the carb not being jetted high enough because well it ticked over fine but when i pulled the throttle to go sumwhere it didnt now i did think i wasnt getting enough fuel and i am still not sure if that is the problem but i thn put my mate race 21mm on with a 97 jet and the same thing happened but instead of when you hold the throttle open then it will cut out it doesnt it really wired but im not sure whether its my spark not sparking proberly. whats everyones thoughts?????
i just rele want to get my bike working with my new bore but i have tired so many things and lost all ideas
ive got the same problem, ive just fitted a 17.5 carb and a hebo manston 50 bore and the rest is in my sig, the clutch dosent engage till around 3/4 revs, but once its engaged it just about moves ive got 12 jets and im guna change the clutch springs and hopefully that will sort it
ive been on with this all day now, ive tryed every jet froma 78 to a 112, and ive tryed 3 differant sets of clutch springs and ive tryed the standard airbox aswell, but it can only get to 35mph, and the set off is appauling as i have to just about push it away, should i try a smaller jet?? as it bogs very badly with a bigger jet than anything over 90 sorry for jacking ur thread but if i get any info off anyone it will probs be good for you aswell
i still need to get some bigger jets but my main problem was that i ended up having a electrical short its still bad cause i do need a bigger jet but now it moves and go well beond 35 :w00t: lol i love this high end bore even after all this hassel
right i have been told that my prblem is the distance of the spark plug i have been told it should be 25am because wats happeding is when i have the cable that charges the battery pluged in its like my ped is bogging out but as soon as i diconect it. it works fine cause its getting enogh power so is this this about the spark needing to be 25am correct. cheers
im totally stuck aswell ive been on with this for 3 full days now and i cant get my head around why its not working, ive tryed everything small jets, bigger jets, 3 sets of rollers(ive mixed them aswell) 2 air filters, 2 clutch bells, 2 drive belts, 2 clutches, and everytime it is just the same pathetic set off and it tops out at around 30mph i would really appreciate if anyone could help as i could do with it being fixed pretty quick as im having to use the bus :w00t: cheers
ok..... 1. your running waaaaay too much stuff on a standard 50 2. your running a standard carb (12mm) 3. is it actually derestricted? oh and 4. dont hijack threads, i mean im glad theres not yet another post about aerox's but still not cool for pimped_aerox2
i said further up the page ive fitted, a hebo manston 59 bore and 17.5 carb :bird: , and yeah its derestricted and we both have the same problem so we both need the same answer and I didnt think there was any point in making a new thread
Good, deal with it then! there shouldnt be a problem setting that up so it must be something your doing (not being rude but its not a hard hard setup), the evo on the other hand is a lot harder to setup. i say stick a 90mj in the carb, 3.5 gr rollers. harder clutch springs and should run ok like that and then work from there mate it is VERY hard to setup a bike over the internet, cos there could be a load of other things affecting it that you may not have realised. so be patient with us as we can only give tips, advice and techniques....
yeah, i know it aint a hard setup to setup lol, but with the jets where there is no bogging, the setoff is still very slow and i almost have to push it away to set off, this happens with 3 differant sets of clutch springs and 3 differant sets of rollers, its a new clutch and clutch bell so could the clutch not be gripping the bell very well as they are both new??? thanks
no offence mate but i dont think we do have the same problem mine electrical and fuck me i could do with help here guys i have been trying to sort mine out for the last week everyday i dont know what to do just as soon as the battery is conected up with the regulator there is not enough power to give me a good enough spark what could this be.
