Some of you might know I posted a while back about my ped, the problem being that it won't pull up hills .. it will happily do 45 mph on flat, but even on small hills it will not shift without a run up .
had a new cylinder, piston and head in september last year (the problem came shortly after this),
and had a new set of rollers in january.
according to the garage that replaced the cylinder etc, the carb was set up properly

SO, i'm currently thinking of ordering a set of clutch springs, a set of torque springs, and new rings.
first. will i have to upjet for torque springs/clutch springs? (cannot find standard ones)
how will i know if rings are buggered?
i'm new to this but i am pretty sure i can replace these.

it is standard apart from a tecnigas exhaust. (and yes i know they are terrible :D)

    cheers for any replies!
    bill.

I think you need to get it set up right, it's made to work properly in std form, wrong weight rollers? Airfilter wrong? These scooters work so you have a problem. Fitting different parts are only masking the faults.
