By changing an end can will it affect the performance in anyway,, even on any exhaust? Thanks.

usually by shortening a endcan it gives it a louder deeper tone, also doesnt really affect performance

wrong... longer the can is the longer the exhaust is, meaning more power at higher rpm less at lower rpm.

the exhaust is worked out via the stub to the end of the stinger, BUT the can changes the effect of the stinger.
by having a longer end can you effectivly have more restriction, so is the same as putting a smaller diameter stinger on the expantion chamber.

put basicly. if you lop the end off your can you will get more torque and less hp, nothing major, but it DOES have an effect. especially on the sound of the exhaust

yee i know it made a big difference in sound, i bet you wont be able to see the difference in power without a dyno though

nah, its marginal.. unless of course the can is seriously wrong. take the leo tt for example. it has a smaller baffel tube than the stinger, yet if you fit a bigger baffel it looses power.... this just demonstrates its easier to make a shit pipe better with a modded end can than it is to make a good exhaust in the first place.

but ye, going off topic a little... it will make a difference tho :) sometimes a pipe is hiding alot of power due to a poor end can desighn.. then again sometimes a pipe is just too fucking loud to begin with. trial and error is the only way to find out what really works and what doesent. gotta cut up parts and take the risk if you want to see the reward (or loss) all part of tuning your bike yourself.
