Can you recomend a good street setup for a minarelli motor, I am after good torque with top speed around 110 km/h and hp in doublde figures. street cert exhaust is no problem here in New Zealand and I am prepared to spend whatever it takes :pimp:
Recomendations on cylinder kit, Exhaust, Reeds, Carb, Crank and transmition would be great thanx

    Malossi MHR-rep 70 kit

    Yasuni city 16 pipe

a good quality full circle/mass crank

    good quality mains like s.k.f

    21 or 25mm carb

decent variator like polini speed control

kevlar belt, again polini are good..

and all the bits and bobs like rollers, clutch springs, jets etc etc

that lot should give you a real quick daily rideable 70 scoot....
you could add a gear up kit for more top end if absolute acceleration isnt required ;)

cheers capri dave, you dont mention reeds does that mean I can keep the factory reed block but just replace the reeds for carbon??

Has anyone had any experience with the italkit 74cc kits and stroker cranks :bike:

you would benefit from an aftermarket reed block with that set up...

but most of the aftermarket blocks are based on the original size cage, what that means is...with a bit of handy work with a stanley knife, a file and possibly a Dremel and some polini carbon fibre sheet, you can make your own aftermarket reed block for a 3rd of the price ;)
