Hi puchased an AY50 katana LC 1998 low miles. Non runner. Have spark , have cleaned carb out. Fuel not getting into cylinder (Plug dry and clean ). Looking in bag of parts I found a piston with scoring. So popped head of and it has had a new piston (bike hasnt run since this has been fitted ). Looks like thery honed the barrel. Was thinking is it not sucking petrol through because of low compression? Fuel is getting to the carb. When i put my finger over plug it feels like there is enough. Any ides.
