ok, when i start my ped, and rev it up a little to warm it, it runs ok then, when i ride it, its ok but when i slow down and stop revving the engine revs so low that it cuts out unless i rev. it was fine a week ago, and i havent done anything to it. what do you think this is?
Does it idle nicely once the engine is fully warmed up? It could be that your riding off too fast when the engines cold, cutting the choke off too early. Take it for a ride atleast 30mins then see if it'll idle or not. If not, then nip up the idle screw on the carb about 1/2 turn in.
yeah the idle is ok now, its just when i revv, i get a small electric shock in my fingers from the brake levers? what the hell could that be? :blush:
Electrical problem, could be a bad earth and this is probably causing the engine to run irratic too. Something is making the frame or just the handle bars "live".
