I had quite a high sport setup on my a/c nrg power.. but i decided to put it to standard and fitted a whole new engine.

Ive put my old coil, and all electrics are the same as i had working perfectly on my 70.
The problem is... i accelerate off the line it hits a barrier of about 8k revs and then just cuts out (revs fall) and once i roll off the throttle its fine untill i accelerate again.

Whole bike is now standard exhaust, carb, bore. However i have a 56jet instead of the standard 53, that shouldnt give this much fault should it?

    Thanks

the jet doesnt sound massively big, around 5% larger than std, but if everything else checks out ok, your going to have to try a 53 jet just to eliminate it from the possibilitys....

is the spark plug fresh, ive had a plug before that would break down every time i full throttled, but seemed ok at 3 quarters throttle :glare:

also are the rollers std weight, and you havent fitted a new kevlar belt recently have you ?

Belt is standard, and i THINK the rollers are standard, im so dumb for not remembering that but ill try the jet tomorrow, but if it isnt that then i think rollers will be a high possibility. Ive spent so much money cos i need it sold :L and i bought a fly puller for no reason cos i thought it was the stator.. thanks dave.

im sure you could sell the fly wheel puller on, without too much of a loss :)
