give the police a ring and quote the number plate, and it will come up as reported stolen if it is stolen,
what's that check you can do is it a VIC check? anyway mate there's a link on the net which you type your number plate in and it tells you if its stolen cant remember it tho try google it.
HPI check also tells you any insurance claims on the bike, any previous tickets, speeding fines, tax dodging etc
ye but like skatergod said if they are on holiday and aint reported it, then it aint going to show up anyways
ye thats it a HPI check but whats the chances if it has been stolen that the people are on holiday who owns it you guy's live in a movie
just ask trick questions like how long have you owned it, whats the reg number, when did you last tax it.
arc: stealin peds/bikes/cars anything! is far more organised that it used to be, and its happened to 2 of my mates when theyve been on holiday! people look out and when they see the house has been empty for while, theyl go for them as it gives them more time to sell/break up and sell :rtfm:
dont ring the cops they try and take them off you just ring up the dvla and say youve bought a bike off som guy and it hasnt came yet could you check if theres any record of the bike.
