ahh seems I was wrong then, but theyre probably so rare that theres japenese guys in their 90`s hiding them in their sheds protecting them with shotguns. I know I would be :)
honestly cant see the point in having it though, why didn't Honda just produce a scooter that was 50cc and was fast in the first place but bet theyre a blast to ride :)

From past experience honda can be "a bit special" sometimes and make rather odd decisions. Although the system seemed to work well, quoted 7.2bhp peak power. So about the same as a piaggio 50 engine with a decent aftermarket pipe. Except with the power valve they could regain torque at lower revs and have a low clutch engagement like a standard modern scoot. No need to pull away at 7000rpm. Im guessing it would have been a great selling point too, much like the YEIS (yamaha energy induction system) fitted to rxs100 bike etc as standard. It was just a boost bottle but sounds like it must go fast with a fancy name like that :)

The old 2 stroke pantheon had a similar system but it didn't require manual operation.

Remember, a powervalve system doesn't make your scooter faster in the top end, all it does is allow you to recover the bottom end that would otherwise be lost from having a cylinder designed to make lots of power at higher rpm.

lol, thank you :) definately spend too much time reading about bikes :)

Small capacity bikes used to be exciting, and a hell of a lot better built than they are now. My old NSR was 1988 and the only cosmetic problems were a little bit of paint bubbling around the spokes on the wheels. My 4month old ybr has rust on some of the welds on the top of the frame beneath the seat already. It has been out in the rain twice from new.

    Hoop hoop. :D ,
That was a blast!,,took her for a spin 'bout 3,an it was like she'd not been ridden since yesterday!,,
not bad considering she's been stuck in my back courtyard for 2 months!,
gonna take a little getting used to not being able to tell when she's on/off choke -
with the vision I had was easy - not so much with the melody as more open plan in 'gards
    to engine being covered/noisier!.
once i'd got around the corner ©100 yds she struggled, but once off choke (very noticeable!) she
fair started wizzzzzzing up the road........at 25 mph. :( .,
but hell she's cheap an cheerful transport an will more 'en do!. :) .,
Indicators (front pukka,rear...uhm an uhm)-(1st problem ta solve!),
    Everything else pukka!,
An what the f..k is up with that ignition system??? - kick start only has to
get a whiff of your foot!,reckon could leave for like ages an come to life moment
    no problemo!!!!!. :D :D .

Mate,i've read articals on people supercharging these. ,
Had it's 'evolved' big brother last year (ne - vision),that was gold!,
this model seems to work fair hard for it/probs.down to it being alittle
bit more open on the panels front an can hear things a lot louder.,
Early days mind as she's essentially been sitting up for 2 months!. :) .
