    Hi everyone,

just went out to put my aerox in the garage and the front brake was sticking making it hard to push. I renewed the fluid to see if that would fix it but now the brake caliper squeaks and the sticking is worse.

If i use the brake gently it sticks really badly, but then if i squeeze the brake really suddenly and pretty hard, when i let go the brake is completely unstuck.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you put it the right amount of fluid or just fill to the top.?

I just filled it like almost full, then put the rubber thing in and let the rest of the fluid spill out into a rag.

That sounds really dirty when out of context.

    lol

Most of the time the cause is that the res is overfilled which means there is always pressure on the pistons in the caliper.

Drain maybe half and see what that does. If its still sticking then your problem will probably be with the caliper itself.

what had happened there was that the system got fluid locked. There was nowhere for the fluid to retreat to when the lever was released hence keeping the pressure against the piston in the caliper
