right im after doing a downhill bar conversion again, and basically i want to do it cheap and i seen people use bike stems and i want to know what type i need and what size i would need? thanks
suppose so, thats wat everyone is saying, never tried it myself, make sure you choose a good stem as this is a ped and not a bmx, oddesy are a really good make
bmx stem is 22.2mm so anything than size would work. if you want something that looks good check out www.alansbmx.com or www.dansbmx.co.uk
iv opted for a DH/MTB competition stem, means it is higher and has reach so it fits better so i can keep a part of my panel on the front, also got some bars with it aswell which hopefully will work, and all this for £2.20 off ebay plus postage imp: :bird:
