Hi, this may sound dodgy, but ive got a spare moped thats been sat in my garden for 3 years. Ive come to use it and the steering lock has stuck in. You can still turn ignition on but the lock is ceased. Any ideas how to take it off or break it? only using it for spares, its a pug speedfight. Thanks for any help :good:
the pin has come out of the housing and stuck in the steering column . take all the clock pannels off, handlebars etc , you should be able to see the pin through the middle of the column , either see if you can budge it or slice it off, happened to one of my old zips
do what mick_t said above. Or you can soak it in wd40 and leave it for a while then wiggle the handle bars slightly and see if it frees off any, or you can take the clocks and handlebars off etc and try to sand the pin down to remove the rust and see if it works
