Basically when I start moving the bars are really stiff to turn, But when I am going along and let off the revs and they drop to the idle the bars free up and is the way it should be. I can still turn them when going along, its just a bit of a bastard. I am thinking that the bars could be vibrating too much or maybe there could of been a rubber washer some where and it has come off??
    Thanks.

Have a good check around for anything rubbing/fouling on the bars etc...

if you cant see anything, its probably the head race bearings knackered ;)

Not a flat tyre.. I aint that thick lol
Also there is no weight at the front as it has a Typh lump in it (No rad)
Capri Dave I will have a look about, But I can roll it and it steers fine and when it is idle'ing it is fine. Its only when it picks up revs it starts doing it :wtf:
But I will have a look to see if anything is rubbing.

Im sure I had this with an old 180 runner and it was the bearings. Take your handlebar panel off and have a look, mind your cable ties though (runner joke)

put the bike on the stand and with the front wheel off the ground the handlebars should turn to fully right or left with the slightest tap from center.

if they dont then with the wheel still off the ground grab the top of the forks and see if theres any play - there shouldnt be.

if the bike suffers from either then its worth checking no wires cables are causing it, and then proceed to changing the head race bearings.

    I would do that...
But it has no center stand :msn1: :msn1: :msn1:
Would it just be best to get some new bearings to be safe?
Any tell tale signs to look for to see if they are nackered like rust etc?

99% of the time when a bearing goes, it GOES.

fresh oil marks, metal filings, anything that makes the bearings look odd, telltale signs

    i'd still replace anyway
