You may know this one but if not listen up .. If you get your visor steaming up when your riding it somtimes is not enough to open the vents on your lid or open the visor slightly. If its pissing down with rain you want your visor closed here is a little tip I got from a despatch rider . Clean your visor inside and out using warm water and some kitchen roll . Dry the visor with more kitchen roll / bog roll etc Get some washing up liquid and put alittle bit on the tips of two fingers. Smear it over the INSIDE of your visor try and get it even and not miss bits . Wipe off all smears with roll try on your crash hat to check make sure youve got em all . Now put on your lid and breathe out like a perv with the visor down . No steaming up! Works for about a week then do it again . Obviously do this at home not while riding along
im using my agv helmet instead of my shoei , it has a bigger vent in the front. seems to be working alot better
It will depend on make of lid you have and if you breathe like Micheal jackson in a nursery nothings going to stop steaming up A good trick in fog is to wait until its clear in front and then turn your head for a second {like doing a lifesaver } works well on motorways this clears the visor for a while and saves you getting wet gloves .
