Starting Up & Running Problems

Today my scooter is been a bastard! Running perfect for the day brilliant i do about a 10 mile trip to my house and back to my mums boyfriends mums house lol, to get some parts for his rs125 and the revs stuck on, so i turned the ignition off straight away, goes to start the scooter back up and it wasn't starting.

So i pushed it the rest of the way and we left it to stand for a while, thought it might be flooded, so evenually get it going again but it was not idling and just cutting out if i didnt rev it, so i thought right i'll just get it home.

So i'm going along and then all of a sudden, it just like died on me went really down to about 30 miles an hour not getting no power at all at full throttle, i thought it could be the rollers but it was like spitting and back firing, and sometimes missing a stroke which felt fuckin horrible lol.

Sorry for the essay, i just really need help lol.

Sorry forgot to add this bit aswell.

I then stopped at my grandma's and then when i went to start the scooter back up it wouldn't start at all, really annoying me!

I've checked the plug its a nice brown colour, put my thumb over the hole where the sparky goes in and it nearly ripped my thumb off so there is compression.

Just really annoyed! have to get the peasant wagon to college

Usual applies.

Spark..compression...fuel

Check for a consistant fat blue spark (could be stator failure with the NRG`s) change the plug.

Get a guage on it to test secondary compression (a thumb dos`nt quite cut it) check primary compression (obvious signs of leaking from the crank seals)

Check carb for loose jets/blocked jets/flow from the fuel tap/blocked breather in the cap/air leaks from a split manifold/leaking manifold gasket and chack the reed petals.

On LC models check for water leaks into the head and on AC check for blowing head gaskets.

 

Checked the carb, reeds and manifold.
Cleaned carb out.

Tbh, the scooter is wanting to start i just think there aint enough compression or the spark is not strong enough,

could this mean that the coil is fucked? if the spark is not strong enough?

and for compression new rings?
