Starting My Typhoon

Hi guys since ive had my 70 bore fitted to my typhoon the majority of the time it doesn't start up the next day using electric start its got worse and worse because it first sometimes it would start now it hardly ever starts electric start first thing in the morning or whatever and i have to kick it over the other day i was kicking it for ages it seems to be getting worse anyone know what the problem is?

Also sometimes my kickstart stays down it does spring straight back up light its supposed to?

 

how old is your battery? does it sound like its flat?

and i didnt understand what you wrote about the kick start lol

 

they do seem to become harder to start when they are 70'd but dont know if it ment to get that bad. and my kickstart does the same but cant be arsed having a look but might do tommorow.

 

the kick start just the mecnasim is jamming or is fucked... my runner did it...never fixed it lol just gay having to bring it back up after uve kicked it

 

yeh my kickstart did the same..just grease up the mechanism and it will be fine. as for the starting. stick a new spark plug in. and a fresh battery and see what happens

my battery can only be around a year old really as the bikes an 06

 

Yeah but if your bike was made in China (like zips) the Chinese battery may have given up.

 

Where do I buy a new battery for a piaggio from?

 

Any bike shop will sell you a Yuasa battery. Before you spend money on this though, see if you can jump start it from a car. If you still have trouble, it's not the fault of the battery.

 

But I can start it with electric start once its been started by kick-start so say I left it 20mins after id started it with kickstart if i went back out i could start it with electric

True, I was just trying to save him some money in case it wasn't the battery

 

my kick start mech used to do that...i took the tranny case off and sprayed the cogs on the inside of the case with WD40...seems ok now
