hi I have a standard variator for a gilera runner sp12 the problem is it hasn't got the round silver circle piece that holds the 2 parts together also the 3 screws are missing is it still usable without it
If you mean the tin ring with a big O ring, just leave it off. Early Piaggio variators were greased but hey soon changed to dry rollers set up. The grease slowed the roller action down, the tin ring was to hold that grease in!
