standard exhaust de-restriction advise

    Hi i have a yamaha aerox 08,
    i would like to no how fast it will go with all standard thing like variator rollers and the jet size.
    And wether de restricting the exhaust with the standard jet will make it run "ruff"
    i dont want to no what soemones mate has done cus usualy they ont say the truth, so have anyone had experiernce with de restricting a brand new Aerox :punk:

    just cut of the extra pipe , put a washer over the hole n weld it closed ;)

    it will run fine if you just derestrict the exhaust. i think theyre restricted at the variator aswell? take the little cone out the end of the exhaust.

    i hammered a big bolt in there about the same size as the hole with some gum gum on my zip, done that about 9 months ago, still good :emb:

    oh okay thanks guys, any one no any cheap places around fareham for de restriction of the exhaust nd i have i already done the the washer in the variator ;)

    i got the exhaust de restricted at some local place but they didnt take off the other pipe which i think is called the cataylitic converter i think :confused:
    wil this affect performance ?

    my bodge was worse than the bolt one lol

    i just drilled the end bit out

    then stuck an old spark plug down the rubber part of the catalic converter thing worked :D

    my aerox used to do 55 on clock with a malosssi x kevlar in der. that was just de restrcited pipe vario etc. but goes slower now :confused:cratch:

    Nah the catylictic converter dont matter i just cut the pipe and tucked inside my plastics, no harm done, dosnt restrict airflow either cause fuck all comes out of mine :p
