hi guys trying to weigh up my options for this crank problem of mine and the 50 cylinder im putting on to replace the 70 i had is a bit shabby, i use my scooter on average 1 - 2 hours a day . i dont know wether to buy a standard remplacement cyclinder and crank for the aerox or.. spend a few qwid more and get a performance crank and another 70cc big bore

i have 2 months until im 17 when i can sell the aerox so i may get that pm x tech bore kit

what do you guys think im really struggling , the sooner the better

if your defo going to sell it in a few months then just go for the cheapest option, it being x-tech or not, well thats wat i'd do anyway.

then you can still say its got a 70cc kit on it

wel a cheap crank is the pm tuning one witch isnt to bad i no a few lads with them and they all have been fine and polini iron kit is a good alround kit,
think of it this way it might cost u a lttle more going the 70 route but wil make the bike worth more in the long run

ok im still tempted by an x tech because there a tad cheaper and i only need it for 2 more months... plus it would be faster

no no no ive explained about 10 times why these kits are shit, use the search you might find some posts, get a polini sport, bomproof kits and good bottom end grunt with a decent amount of power right through the range only about 20 quid more aswell.

    after 7000 miles?

thats good, buy another, or dont ask for advice if your going against it!

people have recomended polini sport, and i doubt you'll do 7000miles in 2 mths!

Stage 6 cylinders are manufactured by Athena, and in fact, the psitons at the cylinder are similar to those of Athena.

So in fact, you bought yourself an Athena sport kit, and payed something like 20 quids more for the label "stage 6".
