Stand For Your Peds

    How do you lot do all your engine work and prop your bike up? c i bin using an old microwave that i had in the garage put it under the frame and SORTED new paddock stand but i was wondering if there is a actual stand you can get for the bikes?

    yh you can get paddock stands o thonk i remember seeing one on scooter-attack but isnt that unneccesary? whats wrong with a microwave?

    i use an overturned bucket with a disposible barbeque ontop

    perfect height :D

    5 litre petrol can on its side

    or.. try grabbing the shit jack out of ya mum or dads car with some blocks of wood (i usually lean it up against a post.. then jack it)

    i got a wooden beam going across the top of it i just strap it up wiv metal rope fingy but im sure normal rope would do or spider man webbing....

    oh right i think mine has a beam going across aswell

    Use them to get them up to a reasonable height (My knee's buggered since my accident so its almost necessary if i want to work comfortably) and theres sort of scissor jacks that are about a foot long that will do the further lifting if needed.

    Before all that 'luxury' it was was milkcrates and wood :(

    actually yeah i do that with my area51, just lift the chassis out of the way on the engine lift then wheelbarrow the engine away with the wheel in place.

    i use a block of wood basicly a tree stump lol and before that i used old tool boxes and some times a jerry can and unlike some of u lot i have to work outside in the cold.
