    The past few days my bike has started to stall, it is only when the engine is warm and ive been riding for 5-10 mins, it seems to cough a little first then completely goes! I can always re start the bike straight away so im not sure what the problem is. Im hopefully going to being seeing Capri Dave this weekend who very nicely said he would clean out my carb for me as he believes this may be the problem.
    The bike is a Runner vx125 so if any one has had/got this problem as well do you have an idea of what it is.
    The stalling obviousely persists until the engine is completely cold
    Can anyone help :(

    get your valve clearances checked, sounds like you've got either atight exhaust valve or a tight inlet valve.

    if you got a haynes guide then;
    set valve clearances,
    check spark,
    clean carb,
    make sure everythings tight
    tbh it sounds like valves to me

    Always start with the simple fix, spark plug first, then maybe carb clean, check for damp electrics etc, if none of them, delve deeper

    its got to be the valves for definite, because its just had a service, ht leads checked, new plug and so on, ive got a haynes manual but im not gonna try it myself.
    Is it an easy job for a dealer to do because ive spent enough on this bike this month :rtfm:

    valve clearances should be a service item

    sounds like carbon build up on the valves

    i managed to phone the shop this afternoon thinking the worst but someone seems to be looking after me, cos they are gonna charge me a whole 20 quid!!!! Basically a screw was missing from the choke, and the spark plug cap was mangled, so they have charged me for half hours labour and a new cap and choke screw!! So i get my bike back tomorrow and im a happy boy once again
