I hope you set the squish on that cylinder! Needs to be 0.7-0.9. Mine with standard gaskets hit the head.

Just thought I'd show you a few of my earlier projects that I had,

The same aerox after I put some polini stickers on it

Unfortunately I came off the white aerox just before I was ready to sell it, so I was forced to buy a black Evo panel set, previously when the bike was white, it just had the standard barrel and piston with a pro rep stage6 exhaust, polini variato and standard carb, and then changed to a Mallosi MHR rep, Yasuni R, a dell stage6 21 carb, polini variator and filter

I sold the black aerox to fund the new project I'm building right now, also at the moment I have a green aerox that's getting built which is also awaiting the wheels to be powderedcoated the setup is similar to this project, stage6 SportPro MKII, C16, 21mm dell, polini variator.

I also had two x8rs which are now sold, which had Mallosi sports cylinders, gianelli and LeoVince exhausts, polini variators and oversized belts

That's it for now, will hopefully have an update at the weekend for the sportspro MKII project

I'd love that motor, what crank is it running? and did you use one of those small sand blast guns running off a small compressor,
just one slight thing, shouldn't the stage 6 sticker face the other way .

I'm just running the standard crank atm, it's just a Clarke blast gun running through a 150litre compressor, yep the sticker should be the other way round but the "S" was to big and hit one of the casing bolt loops, thanks for the comment, Jack ;)

That polini aerox looks nice, I'm doing the same to mine (well, I was going to, can't decide haha). Have a look in the picutres section, the white paint is done now.

Pm tuning crank is great value for money

Just had a look at the pictures looks nice, the stickers were pretty easy to put on apart from the logo on the zpanels which was a real pain, the last MHR rep I had was just running on the standard crank and never let me down, not sure of it was just luck or what? I only use it for acceleration through the street and never keep the throttle wide open at top speed, let me know what you think whether I should get a crank or not cheers jack ;)

I would say a mhr kit on a stock crank was definitely luck. How long did you run it for?

And using the bike for acceleration round town is worse on the crank, it's the load that kills them, not rpm.

I ran it for about 2500 miles before I sold it to someone I know and he still hasnt had any problems, it was the MHR replica also the bike was a 59 plate incase that makes a difference? Cheers Jack

Before fitting my Streetrace 70 kit I fitted new main bearings and a Top racing crank ( it's a Doppler crank with a different finish). It cost less than £100 including bearings and seals and gives me piece of mind.
It's the combination of high power and revs (both of which the stage 6 has in plenty) which kills them.
