Stage 6 sport pro mk2 help

Hi all,

I have a jog rr with a sport pro mk2 kit and a stage 6 pro rep pipe fitted.

Anyone know what the power band should be for this setup?

Roughly what weight rollers will be suitable?

I’ve just built a midrace engine on a gilera it’s running a Mallosi multivar with 5.5 g rollers and it’s spot on... hope that helps

 

Not sure what you mean by “what should the power band be”?

 

The rpm range the setup will make peak power. For example 10000 rpm

 

All depend on your roller varaitor setup every bike is different unless stock

 

Surely each kit/ exhaust combination makes peak power at a certain rpm? How will I know what this is? Ped parts dyno charts are a little confusing as on one bike the kit/exhaust is making peak power at 9500rpm, but then on another graph and different bike it is 11500rpm....?

 

What is your reason for wanting to know? The idea with a 2stroke auto is to have the power band sweet spot across the whole revs.... we acheive this with a well balanced varitaor

 

My reason is so I can set the variator up to hold at the perfect rpm

Stage 6 sport pro mk2
Stage 6 pro rep pipe
Full circle updated crank shaft
Stage 6 variator with 5g rollers that come with it
Updated reed block
Unrestricted inlet
Stage 6 clutch
17.5mm carb

 

Sounds like a solid set up
