Argh bikes driving me crazy, Everything ive tried is not not working. I honestly cant think of anything eles to try! Felt like crying earlier lol, Just for people that dosnt no what im running is,
Stage 6 street race 70cc bore (Without thermostat)
    Polini variator with 4.4 rollers.
    Standed 12mm carb upjetted.
    Stage 6 chrome rep exhaust.
Big blue polini torque spring with Yellow Little clutch springs.
    Polini cone filter.

Only problem is i changed everything at the same time. The bike is fine when i first start it up. A little sluggish of the line but after 9-10 mph its rapped up until about 35-40. After i hit the end of the road and come back its a little worse. Then back down the road its a little shitter, So on so on until its useless and barely hit 30. If i turn the bike off leave it for 5 mins and try again its fine and completes the part before. Truly havnt a clue whats going on. Getting to the point now where i will put it back to a 50 after i get the bore repaired! Any help will truly be thanked! Adam.

Yeah tomoz or wednesday ill be getting a 17.5 to run see how it is but surly people have ran a 12mm carb before and does that show the reason why it stop running well after a good 5 min run?

How many miles has the cylinder kit done? I'm guessing you have run it in?

Nah i havnt, Thats why I'm not even pushing it passed 35-40. I even reverted everything back to standed ( variator and springs) and changed all types of options and still no better!

Running a cast iron cylinder kit takes a long time and needs varying rpm's rather than sticking to a single speed. The kit wont meet it's maximum performance before it's run in.

Also it could be having heat issues and you could have damaged it by not running it in properly. A small carb and an air filter will probably cause fuel starvation too.

I would check the cylinder over and also fit a stock air box and over jet it a bit until it's run in.

So would this explain why it barley hits 30 after 5 mins? as its not even safe to use like it, Can barley even pull of from a junction lol, I thought it would of had at least a little bit of poke :/

maybe your el. choke is on or something because you unconnected your thermostat, but i would say you get an aribox with 17.5 or 19mm carb mate as if it keep changing the speed and boging etc is fuel/air problems

i got same sort of problem on my tph with malossi sport (fresh one ) it goes up to 30 nicely then just goes very slow and only does like 45 ish, so im guessing its my pipe and carb

Its manual choke bud, Will not heating up enough be a big problem? as a friends nrg ran shite untill it was very warm. I havnt got a standard airbox anymore but if i jet the 17.5 enough with a filter ill see how it is from there, So annoying never had this problem before with any bikes lol

open air filters do work on 70s, its just who sorted it out and set it up, if u go put an air filter on and dont have a clue and random jets n shit obv ur gunnna say they dont work cause you cant set it up but once its all set up it runs fine and it lets the engine breathe better on high end

Could be a knackered rear pulley, gets stuck in high gear as the bike warms up. Mine did it, replaced it and it fine. What's the mileage?

ye you can get them to work but for what drinks petrol doesnt do nothing to performance unless you have some thing alot faster than a sport, plus you d have to get it dyno jetted or your run it lean or rich all this for what lol
