Two weeks ago the main brgs went on the ped so it was an engine out job, while we were replacing the mains i lost the plot and decided to spray the whole ped. Everything is sprayed in 2k metallic base coat and then clear coated, the colours are knightfire red, panther black and the frame etc... in power grey. The pics show the panels in a temperary fix as im not sure if it needs a bit more grey somewhere ie: to much red, anywhere heres a few pics as of today. liam. Before; As it stands;
Re: Sr70 spring clean. :O. That looks damn good. Loving the red engine. The balance looks pretty good to me? Depends on how you have painted up the inner panels.
Re: Sr70 spring clean. Hi mate, the inner panels are metallic black and to be honest the more i look at it, the balance looks spot on. We've got a black or chrome allen bolt set for the variator cover which should break it up, and the kick start will be getting a fresh black coat along with the seat which be getting recoverd. These pictures dont do it any justice at all to be honest it looks 100% better in the flesh. Just after a set of digital clocks to finish it all off. Then i'll probably end up selling it as ive just gone 17 and fancy doing a 125/172 but not sure what to go for ie; runner, typhoon etc. liam.

You've done a proper job of this! And if you do sell it, you know you want to Typhoon it up! :good: Or failing that if you're still liking this, you could always have a nice 172 SR... :whistle: :grin:

Re: Sr70 spring clean. This morning decided to strip out the original clocks and fab a bracket up to see what it looks like. obviously the wiring loom plugs straight back in so everything works as it should looks pretty good me thinks, i'll now wait for a propper slagging off.lol liam
