Got my exhaust fitted today :) Sounds the tits, bit like a crosser, proper tinny sound.

Got on it first thing I noticed was it doesnt like setting off, full thorttle... nothing.. nothing.. nothing... then flies off. Still mis firing badly until the bike gets warm, takes ageeeeesss until it will rev without sounding like its burning off oil.

Past 45ish, the bike revs up and the power is phenominal! Flies up too, around 65ish (im guessing) then it mis fires... like a rev limiter but if you hold the throttle it will go past it then start missing again? (Missing as in 4 stroking).

I tried an NGK racing plug (9) which cut out in the middle of a twatting junction!

Put the BR9ES back in and was perfect for about half an hour until I went down a dual carriage way when this mis firing started, eventually it cut out (still started straight away but cut out).

So what now? Tighter springs for a start but will I have to go up to a 10 plug? Seems to high for a bike :/ My theory is, the plug gets too hot under hard acceleration and doesnt spark properly.

put that init then ..its not good to run a spark plug too hot ...ive heard bits of the metal tip breaking off due to being ran too hot

Just a 10 seems so high? Also the higher plug I put in the longer it takes to clear itself when its cold! :( Cant bloody win sometimes, might just adapt a glow plug in it lol :)

Was a joke lol, and when it burns off the excess oil, every 2 stroke ive ever come across does it, starting from cold, lots of blue smoke for about 100 yards, mine does it for about half a mile :/ oil pumps on as low as il put it :/

Put a 10 plug in it, took about 10 mins for it to start 4 stroking then cut out, I put the 9 back in and it got me home okay? Only seems to do it when its up to temperature.

Another thing ive noticed is the pick up for the ignition (plugs in near the flywheel) was wet and bit green on the connectors, so I cleaned all that then to notice on the underside theres a hole in the connector where its melted through! Im still not convinced this would be the problem though :/

    Hasnt cut out once today?!

The only thing ive done is checked thee CDI at all points for resistance (check its working properly) checked the Generator and tightend the battery terminals (a bit loose) but the bike should run fine without a battery anyway?

Still mis firing at about 10000 10500 rpm but im not going that fast on a normal road anyway, any ideas? :/
