Need to know what jet I should be using on my bike before I start buying jets that are the wrong size and taking my carb off every 5 mins!

    Set up :

    SR70 R (57 plate)
    Stage6 Street Race 70cc
    Stage 6 Pro Replica
    4.5g Rollers
Leo vince clutch springs (came with a tt)
    Standard Variator
    Standard Crank
    Aftermarket CDI (standard not sports)
    Standard Air Box and intake
    Malossi Special X belt

At the moment its got a 60 Main jet, I had a 72 lying about but it was too small (5mm I think?)

The bike runs fine with this jet.

The bike has its Standard airbox with the rubber cone restrictor still in it, if I take it out the bike fooking flying to about 30 were I get to the end of my drive then it starts to bog down (way too much air)

So I want to take this cone out, what Jet should I be using?

Also it take the piss to set off, what colour clutch springs should I be putting in?

    Cheers :)

I had a sr70 and used a 98 jet in it, try that or even higher i would get a jet set from 90-120 or somoething ands try them..... I wouldnt use the springs u got with the leo vince, i would put the standard ones back in :)

Wouldnt the standard springs be even softer? It probably wont set off at all lol.

So a 60 to a 98? If it runs okay with a 60 and that restrictor in isnt a 98 a bit much? i was thinking more 72 to 78 ish?

yeah but the harder the springs the higher the revs have to be before it sets off...
