sr50r slow project

well here is my sr50r 05 plate asit stands

bought the gianelli of INO for 20 smackers it looked like this

then a lil while later

then after abit of a struggle and a shortage of bolts i got it on the bike


plans for it are new crankshaft on tomoro with malossi variator n white contra n obv upjet.
get some money and a shiny red lightened flywheel...air filter, then clutch springs..
qand next week shud be gettin my malossi 70s kit and thinkin bout a bigger carb

 

That come up nice. have you got a 17.5 carb? if so i might have a 20.5 carb u can have for free, hopefully will get that crank fitted later

old thread but I just saw your bike

You should remove the aprilia sticker on the belly panel. Maybe get just white aprilia decal . or try spraying it white (properly)

Yeah cheers fo that and I was thinking the samebwhen I was lookin at it n thinkin to take it off n spray it white or the rim blue colour
And the bike has been offroad sinse this but is on the brink of running again just need the crank bolts which are a bugger to get on and have no more time because I'm goin away
And so far I've got pm crank..gianelli pipe..malossi vario..20.5 carb..new clutch springs..5.1 rollers..riser block. And next gettin renthals but need a stem to fit my bike first and mayb a 70s kit

 

Get the bike running before putting aftermarket bits on

 

Yeah I am the carb isn't on or anything .. just a standard 50 with new crank because other one was worn but everythin else is goin on when its running
