Im currently running a sr50r with the following mods:

Stage6 Sport PRO Variator - Piaggio
Polini Sport Liquid Cooled 70cc Piaggio Cylinder Kit
Stage6 PRO Replica Carbon Exhaust - Piaggio
    Carbon fiber reeds
    Jasil Racing Crakshaft
Standard carb (Pretty sure its the 17.5m carb, Main jet 72 and idle jet is 32)

Will have a gear up kit in soon. So im wondering if i would need to up the jets even tho there is no bogging except now and again on hills, or even get a bigger carb.
The reason im wondering as i see people running a 19m or 21m carb with a main jet of 90 etc. Just wondering if the current carb settings would be alright.

    tyy

IF u wanna seize it right away they are all right, start with a minimum 80-85 main jet , as for idle you need to check if its rich/lean on idle i would say 35 38 would do the job, maybe the 32 is fine too you need to check.

Im not saying it’s perfect from any means... but i tried a 90main jet it bogged and a 85 too and it would no go at all on hills at all and also tried a 36 idle jet but it was needing me to hold the throttle for a while for me to pull off.

72 does sound small. What's the color on the spark plug

That’s what i mean it seems low and not sure atm as sending it to garage for crank bearings atm. Will check when its back but last time it was slightly on the rich side going of colour of the sparkplug
