Hey all! Currently up'd my jets to 86 main and 36idle but this post is not about that. Im currently wondering if its worth just going to premix as my bike only smokes on cold start and when its warm it does not smoke. I turned the oil pump all the way up but its still only smoking on start and not even that much honestly. So would it be worth switching to pre mix? If so then how do i do that? Would i have to somehow take the oil pump out and empty the oil tank? Or just leave it how it is and just put a certain amount with my fuel? Thanks for all the help! -EDIT- Using castrol power 1 racing 2stroke oil at the moment
If it's a 2 stroke then it should smoke, that's why they are called 2 smokes, 4 strokes smoking is a problem.....
Yea its a 2stroke, its only smoking on cold start once its warm it does not smoke really but when my mates are behind me they can still smell the oil being burned so i'm not sure if that means not enough oil getting put through or its alright.
