my mates got 1 and wants 2 know how he can de-restrict it , he found sum info on the net wich said ther was a washer in the variator and restrrictor in the exhaust wich is easy enough , but he said that the cdi needed 2 be derectriced by using a gameboy :wtf: , sounds like total bollocks 2 me , has any1 ever derstricted 1 , is this info right ? cheers
im pretty sure the gamboy is used to programming the alarm/immobiliser. or remapping the ecu on the petrol injection models. just variator washer and exhuast should do.
if its injection you do need a gameboy to unlock it (or a laptop iwth the relevent software) id ditch it an run a carb personally
an depending on pipe fitment lighter rollers.. some pipes are REWAL bad as i found out the other day (gad damn piaggio are doing worse an worse things to these por engines)

yes, if it is an injection moddle dont touch it.. will go bang if you derestrict it wiht the restricted map.
