Can someone for the sake of God, please find me some information on where abouts the 2007 SR50 R (carb model) is restricted. I haved been looking for ages with no luck. :wallbash:

i know that the new sr50s have restrictors in the variator there is a metal plate(washer) that stops the rollers from hittin the edge of the variator hense wont go fast so take that out , and as ussual there will be restrictors in the exhaust which there is no point getting derestricted it would be better getting a sports exhaust , and there may be restrictors in the carb but not sure , some of the new 1s have rev limiters on them in the cdi unit you get cdi units that have unlimited revs on it so after you do all of that and your still not happy try that , my mate has a spains no1 sr50 2007 and that is what i had to do 2 derestricd his, if ur still not happy with the speed of it try 70cc bore kit is the 1 2 get
is the pipe certainly gonna be restricted? anyway i could chek if it is? EDIT, could someone please add me on msn and help me get over my problems
yeah the pipe will be re-stricted. their will be a pipe coming off that is just blanked at the end but byt he time you have finsished cutting a blanked holes back off is easier to get a sports ehausts. then you have a restrcited spare exhausts that comes in handy at times.
well i think the new budget sports pipe has to be the laer x pro, although i say budget, it is a highly reccomended sports pipe, and is no way reguarded as a "budget" pipe,, can be picked up for about 100 quid delivered
After the 300mile run in period, when i take it back to the dealer for a checkup, if i asked them to derezz the ped for me, and offered to pay the price if there is one, do you think they could sort it out for me?
dobbler have out a power pipe it makes you ped go altot faster the only problem is that everytime you put it in for a mot you will have to put back on your standard 1 that pipe is 110 quid off of adrenaline-pedstop, 2 be honest it is easy enough done your self there is no need 2 waste money taking it to your dealer
by the sounds of it he has got a brand new bike which still has warrenty and if he does it his self will void warrenty but if his takes it to garage to get it done which will be around 6o quid mark will keep warrently sometimes they wont do it if your still 16 though. i would see if they will do it for you mate.
ye sorry about that if u have a warreny you should check it with your dealer first , so you dont go tampering with it and make your warrenty void
