Hi i brought a non running 2005 piaggio'ed carb engine sr50 r Story so far... The water pump, oil pump belt had broken, took out top end, Rebuilt top end. Ect The bike has Mallosi race variator Mallosi race clutch Mallosi race belt Ganelli race pipe Running a 73 main jet, derestriced carb and airbox and ring from variator The bike starts and runs like a dream But the bike seems to be spluttering on 1/4 throttle, plug is about the right colour the bike runs perfect any thing over 1/4 throttle Any suggestions ???
i think the main jet is fine, its only when its between 0 - 1/4 throttle is splutters, (like a misfire) would it be the idle or needle jet to rich or lean?
i dont quite get what you are on about my friend rollers can cause the same symtoms as jetting like spluttering its worth a try!!!!!
mate if hes said hes been playing with the carb and air box its got to be jetting, if its running fine past quarter throttle fine theres probely and 1% chance its gonna be rollers especially in this case were hes on about jetting think i repeated my self there a few times owell lol ye jetting !!! ill give you 100 quid in your paypal if it was rollers
how old are you really, common sense tbf pal, if hes talking about jetting and says it splutters 1/4 throttle wtf would you say rollers ?? that would be your second sugestion tbf fucking noob who googles everything
