well basically my m8s got a sr50 di-tech we fitted new barrel, piston, exhaust, plug and rollers started first time on the button ran fine for 3 days took it on a beach was running a sponge filter but had a hole in it as started rubbing against the tyre which he didnt notice but it cut out and would not start so put another new plug in as old 1 was covered in sand still no joy so had the barrel, piston, manifold, and reeds out reeds were jammed open and full of sand and bottom of crank case also had sand and petrol down there so flushed out engine case with petrol and s now dry and clean also cleaned everything when putting back 2gever then got it started bout 4th time of the button then had 2 cut it out due to no coolant only was running for about 30 seconds then put in coolant and wouldnt start so got the barrel off to check piston that was fine checked the injector worked that was fine checked the spark that was good does anybody have any ideas been working on it for 2 weeks and still no joy if cant get it runnin by wednesday he selling it on ebay lol
Sand is an engines worst nightmare, along with water. If its got into the cylinder and crankcase, then it'll need a full rebuild.
well it still aint startin or showing any chance of starting but he sold it to another freind of myn whos throwin a runner 125 engine init as it has a full set of professionaly sprayed panels will put it in the projects when work gets started
