Hi, I have for sale a Y reg sr50 ditech.
Its either for sale, or to be broken for spares...
It has just had a polini sport kit put on it and the engine HASNT EVEN BEEN TURNED OVER...looking for around £80? for it.

Also has a leo vince zx chrome pipe..works very well on the ditech models..£40?
Has a malossi belt, variator and white torque spring.
Also has the malossi ecu and gear up kit..
The bike does 73mph clock speed and used to pull strongly up to there.
The bike is currently a non runner, thats why it would be better to break but i would accept £200 for the complete bike. (I could sell it in parts for waaay more but its more hassle.)
Panels do have sum deep scratchs but all lugs are there.
I have the key and log book.

    Im in north west london

Electrical problem cos its a ditech i dont know how to fix it lol
On ditechs when you turn the ignition on the injection check light comes on and theres a buzzing sound while the system builds up pressure to start.

But it starts to build up pressure but is quiet and you can hear it struggling and the injection check light stays on. If you push the elec start button theres just a single click (from the relay not from motor)..
It could be an easy fix, i dont know. To be honest it would be better for breaking.

Theres a downloadable manual for the ditechs on the net somewhere and you can find the fault codes which should be able to tell you whats wrong.

i think its the fuel pressure regulator, like they use in cars, thats gone, better off running a diagnostics test though first to sort out the problem quicker

still dire to tune.. unless you can figure a way to manually imput a new map. the efi aint up to pushing enuff fuel for the kind of setups i prefer to run so im steering clear of anything injection based.. just pure hassel

well did..now it just needs the kickstart spring atteached and gear case put back on..just had
    new sprocket seal and collar
    new headset bearings
    new swingarm bearings
    new linkage bearings
    new water pump seals
    new back sprocket
    new blue renthals
    new clutch lever
    new front brake lever
    new cut out switch
    new front innertube
    new chain
    new top end gaskets
LOL i spent over £400 onit, and now just want my money back..

Yerr il get them very soon..
I forgot to say its got one problem...it happens on all old honda's apparently
The kick start slips cos it doesnt engage on the gear properly, but as soon as the engine is warm, the problem goes away...

I found a forum about a year ago and somebody posted the problem, and about 5 guys answered him saying 'yer it happens on mine the problem never goes away but you can replace the spring which sorts it out for a while but it starts to slip after some time again.'
