sr side stand

hey where and how do u fit a side stand onto an sr? and will a side stand from a runner fit it?thanks

 

runner one wont fit

you can mod the buzetti for the SR50 to fit but you have to make a bracing bracket, i dont think you have to mod the belly pan either.

 

I've just fitted a Buzzetti sidestand to my SR, you have to cut a hole in the bellypan for it to go through, although the lines to cut are already moulded into the inside of the bellypan, seems to be mounted alot better than the one I had on my NRG.

 

is yours the newer 1 piece belly or the 2 peice?

 

I have had a sidestand on my SR for a while now as my mainstand was seized and never bothered to replace the thing!

The newer belly pan as said has the lines already marked out. Nice of aprilia huh!

I modded a different sidestand to fit the bike and it bent the frame after a while so I wouldnt reccomend it unless your willing to restraighten it!

mine snapped and i gave it a complete overhaul, as new now, i could do yours if you sent a bit of cash my way?
