just put 172 on me scoot and when i started it up it run's an rev's fine but it's vibrating like mad it ' could it be i've tightend the mounts up too much or the bushes ? it never vibrated like this before either any advice apreciated thanks
it didnt vibrate before so its just what 172's do then but it vibrates so much it makes your feet numb everyone will think i'm pissed when i get off it haha
As said you mounts were probably bad before or on the way out and you never realised. The kit being fitted youll definetely feel it more and it can make it worse too. Bike + Big bore + Dodgy mounts = trouble... Get that engine out and sort those mounts before you come off!
yeah my bearings fucked and subframe replaced them all still still vibrate a bit, as minor said if you just watch it idleing engine jumps all over
vibrations on an sr iv had the same problem. but i put a new bush kit in and its still the same so i took the fly wheel of took it to a friend and had him put it on the lathe and lighten it. she runns much smoother now. p.s that was with a malossi 172 fitted. unk:
Re: vibrations on an sr any reason why your writings in red?? lol or u just in a colourful mood lol thats whats put me off 125/172 etc. the vibrations get on my fecking nerves, but having said that you do get used to it pretty quickly
red writing will get me noticed lol. you can get a silent block kit aswell with helps stop the vibrations as its made from more dureable rubber. dont get put off 172s as they rule.
Loool..... if you carry on writing in red you will probably end up getting banned for destroying peoples eye's as it is a little difficult so why not type like so
its about iliminationg colour... yellow contains nether red nor blue.. dyslec eyes work better through blue or red tint
i havent got a clue to what you are on about red blue yelow everybody seems to be reading it ok. + its supposed to be about scoots.
