how can i tell if my sprocket carrier bearing is fucked? apparantly it was replaced at 12k due to drive noise, an im now at 40k so just wanna rule that out as the drive noise iv got.
try to move it around and a clockwise/anticlockwise movement, like twist it on way then the other, if it has lots of play the carrier might be knackered.
cheers for that, also how many hours labour do you rekon a garage will charge to change steering head bearing set (top and bottom?) imp:
If you help them out by removing fairings etc nefore you take it, you can cut down the labour by a fair bit, i reckon about 1-2 hours labour to change what you want done.
