spraying rims

i want to spray my rims but getting my tires off to do it is kinda loong, so i was wondering if anyone has done it with the tires on and taped over them.
or is it possible to take my tires off myself and do it.

 

iv dun a few sets for m8s now
what i do is let the tyres down so makes it easyer to put tape around the edge

works fine and u cant tell if u have or havnt taken the tyres of when the tyres are pumped back up

ive used a similar trick,let the tyres down then put cardboard between the tyre and the rim(breakfast cereal box type)fill in any little gaps with masking tape. then spray away bit of a short cut but it works

 

yh that would work but if you use masking tape you can paint both sides at the same time

just mask with newspaper at top of cardboard

best way to do this ( i have done alot of rims ) is to let the tire flat fold it over to one side masking tape it down then spray trust me its the best way :w00t:
