payday soon so gonna spend some money on the sr 172 looking for a good 28mm carb i have got my eyes on the red delly 28mm vhst but would i have to premix my oil or have they got a oil feed on them. also looking for a good reed block valve and manifold thinking of a malossi mhr reed block any feed back would be grateful thanks in advance
If you have a metal inlet pipe on your engine you can drill & tap it and then screw in a nipple. Connect the oil pump hose to that and it will work fine. I ran my scoot like this for about 2 years (before I swapped to pre-mix) and I never had any trouble at all.
