got my bike on the road it runs like shit to 25 mph then kicks in theres no power for about 5 seconds i had it out for a ride today running a 90 jet and open filter i took it to the shop turned it off left it came and turned it on and it wouldnt start i had to push it home sparky was black and wet i changed the sparky and downjetted to a 82 and it runs better but its takin the piss to start gotta open throttle when kicking anyone help me ????
orite mate. i had the same problem with starting. i converted it to a manual choke think the auto choke was sticking on n floodin sparky. now i am using standard airbox and 86 main jet . and it starts fine. imp: . btw carb heaters not wired up on mine.
have you checked your reeds my bike was running exactly the same as yours and it was really hard to start. put in new reeds and its fine now.
av u blanked the vacuum inlet where the reeds sit? i hav blanked mine off seemed 2 run alot better imp: and i am using the vacuum on my carb. think the 1 i blanked off is for the fuel pump on the runner. so not needed.
right running a 90 jet manual choke waterproof air filter straight inlet still seems to bog blew my spark plug it was black exhaust is a lil smokey so any advice on setting up a carbstandard 20.5 or should i still adjust my mixture screw
